Kodomo no Koro
Remember the little sweets, colorful snacks, and simple joys of childhood? Discover the fun of Japanese dagashi โ nostalgic treats packed with care in Hokkaido, Japan, and shared with the world.
A Little Taste of Japanese Childhood
Kodomo no Koro (ๅญไพใฎ้ ) means โwhen we were kids.โ It's a name inspired by childhood memories and the small things that make us smile.
In Japan, dagashi are inexpensive candies and snacks that generations of children have enjoyed. Many are colorful, playful, and wonderfully different from the sweets you find elsewhere.
With Kodomo no Koro, I want to share a fun part of everyday Japanese culture with my English students, people who love Japan, and anyone curious about trying something new.
