Hello, I’m John Haines, the founder and teacher at A-1 English School in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. I specialize in helping students build confidence through real conversation.

Unlike big classroom schools, A-1 English School offers personalized one-on-one lessons — flexible, friendly, and focused on your goals. Whether you’re preparing for work, travel, or daily communication, I’ll help you speak English with confidence.

Based here in Asahikawa, I’m proud to support my local community while also teaching students across Japan and internationally through online lessons.

こんにちは。A-1 English School（エーワン英会話スクール）代表のジョン・ヘインズです。北海道旭川市を拠点に、旭川英会話スクールとして地域の皆さまに英語を教えています。

A-1 English Schoolでは、大人数の授業ではなく、一人ひとりに合わせたマンツーマンレッスンを行っています。日常会話、旅行、仕事、試験対策など、目的に合わせて「自信を持って英語を話せる力」をサポートします。
